About the Photographs

The photographs on this website reflect my passion for travel and the natural world. I like to shoot using natural light and try to get it right in camera. The photographs shown have had little, if any, post production work - usually just a tweak to levels and contrast and some dust spot removal. I am not interested in equipment but, for any gadget freaks out there, all photographs are taken with either a Canon 5D or 5D MkII/III. My usual lenses are the Canon 24-100mm and Canon 100mm macro, with the Canon 100-400mm used for many of the wildlife images.

I take photographs of anything I find interesting and/or beautiful.

About the Photographer

Born and living in London, UK, I was introduced to photography in the 1990s, when my husband gave me a compact camera. I completed a home study diploma course with honours in 2005, which gave me the confidence and knowledge to start taking photography seriously. Having worked as a lawyer for over 20 years, I now divide my time between working as a gardener/garden designer, training and judging dressage horses and photography.
